Zendio Email Tracking v Microsoft Email Read Receipts

A common question we get is how Zendio email tracking differs from an email read receipt in Microsoft Outlook. We first addressed this question about a year ago in this blog post, but thought it might be time for a refresher. As we will explain, Zendio offers a far more robust and reliable service when it comes to tracking emails.
Email Analytics are in integral part of Zendio. While you can use Zendio Email Tracking just to make sure the intended recipient reads your emails, you can also use the compiled data in the statistics section of the Zendio Inbox to find patterns that help you make better business decisions.
How does Zendio Email Analytics work:
Email Analytics work a lot like the website analytics.
Much like website analytics that compile data about website visitors, Zendio email analytics compiles information about the people you email so you can start to see patterns and understand how recipients are interacting with your emails.
- Just like website analytics give you data regarding page visits, Zendio Analytics can tell you what links are clicked.
- Just like website analytics can give you a users IP based location, Zendio Analytics provides you with the IP location of your recipient.
- Just like website analytics can give you the time of day people visit a website, Zendio Analytics can give you the time the email was read.
What Makes Zendio Email Analytics Different?
We asked people who use email as their main communication source and created the features of Zendio based on their responses.
For example, we found that most people don’t need to know who they email most often. They already had a good sense of that.
What they did need to know was what times of day the people they most often email actually read their emails. So we created the statistics area in your Zendio Inbox, which compiles all of the read times for each email address into a chart so over time, you’ll know who reads their emails regularly during the day, and who doesn’t get to them until late in the day or evening. Then you can gauge the best time to email that person. That’s email analytics you can use!
The more you use Zendio, the more data you have.
