Download and install Zendio in Microsoft Outlook.

By default, the email tracking option in Zendio is activated and will automatically notify you when your emails are read.

Here’s a quick overview of how Zendio Email Tracking works so you and your recipients can be assured that all of your email communications are private.

When you send an email using Zendio, included with your email is a small transparent image. It’s so tiny no one can see it so it doesn’t interfere with your note. When your recipient opens your email, that small transparent image calls out to our servers.

As soon as our servers receive that message, they automatically send a notification to your email address letting you know your email was opened. That’s it. It takes less than a minute for our servers to get the message and send out your email notification.

As you can see, your emails never come through our servers so no one at Zendio ever has access to their content.

Notification Options

You have options for email tracking notifications.

• If you prefer automation, an email read notification sent directly to your inbox is the simplest option. These notifications are stored for later viewing in your Zendio Inbox.
• If you like to review information on your schedule, then you can turn off automated email notifications and log into your Zendio Inbox to review read notifications. It is stored along with all of your data in the Tracking Inbox. So whenever you need to find out if (and when) an email was read, you can simply log into Zendio and review information for a specific email.
• For those on the go, text alerts are the perfect solution. When emails are read, a text notification is sent right to the mobile phone number associated with the account.

What’s the best option for you? It’s truly a matter of personal preference. If your inbox is feeling too cluttered already, you may choose to log-in and review your email data. If you like having everything automated (so you don’t need to think about it), then having the email tracking notifications come to your email or smart phone, may work best. The great part is, you can try it different ways and see which one suits your work habits best!
